Our Summer Bridge Program is designed to provide incoming freshmen with an engaging and purposeful introduction to Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways. This program targets rising ninth-grade students, offering early exposure to the diverse career pathways available across our school sites.
Over the course of the program, students rotate through each pathway, gaining hands-on insight into various industries and skill sets. This exploratory model allows students to begin identifying their interests, strengths, and potential career directions before entering high school.
In addition to career exploration, students earn five high school credits, giving them a valuable head start on their academic journey while building confidence and connection to their future pathway.
The Summer Bridge Program serves as a critical entry point for student engagement, helping to increase pathway alignment, early commitment, and long-term success within our CTE programs.
REAL Journey Academies (RJA) is a non-profit, charter school organization headquartered in the Inland Empire region of Southern California. With 17 years of experience, RJA currently operates five school sites serving over 2,400 TK – 12 students and is developing plans to expand operations in the Inland Empire and other regions of California. We provide students with a safe environment that challenges them and helps them excel in their academics and development as a student.
